    SUNY Pathway Scholars Award Program Application for Spring 2021

    SUNY Pathway Scholars Award Program: Start at SUNY, Stay at SUNY.
    The State University of New York (SUNY) Pathways Scholars Award program helps high-
    performing students committed to completing their associate and bachelor’s degrees.

    Pathway Scholars must have graduated from a New York State high school in 2020 with a final GPA of 80% or higher.  Scholars will enroll at SUNY Broome full-time with an intent to graduate in two years with their associates and transfer to a four-year SUNY college or university.  Scholars will actively engage with support services at SUNY Broome including academic advising, transfer counseling, career guidance, and tutoring services.

    Pathways Scholars will receive a total of $500 to use for non-tuition related expenses during
    their first year: A $250 award at the start of semester one and an additional $250 award at the start of semester two, based upon remaining in good academic standing (2.0 GPA). Upon completion of their associate degree and enrollment in a SUNY bachelor’s degree program, Pathways Scholars will receive an additional $1,000 for non-tuition related expenses.

    Applications for the SUNY Scholars Pathway Program are due by January 11.  A selection committee will review all applicants against SUNY’s previously identified criteria. Students selected will be notified by January 15.
