Summer 2026 Orientation Registration
We are excited to share with you SUNY Broome's 2026 orientation dates! Orientation is key to getting your student journey off to a successful start.
For your convenience, there are in-person, virtual (live via Zoom) and fully online (via Brightspace) options available.
Regardless of which orientation you register for, you will have access to the online orientation modules that will be available at the end of August via Brightspace.

Which Orientation Session is right for me?
While you can attend any orientation session, we have tailored programming depending on you as a student!
July 14 & Aug. 6 are evening orientation sessions (one on campus, one virtual). These are geared towards students who may be taking a majority of their classes online, or working adults. These sessions will be compact and focus on essentials for academic success!
July 16, 21 & 29are day sessions on campus. These sessions are great for students that will be attending mostly on campus and in addition to focusing on essentials for academic success, we will also cover all the amazing ways to get involved on campus. The morning programming will run 9:30 a.m.- noon followed by lunch! There will then be time in the afternoon to visit various offices on campus to complete any checklist items.
July 27 is a virtual session, designed specifically for our SUNY Reconnect Students. It will be a very condensed orientation, and will cover important details around making sure you maintain SUNY Reconnect eligibility. If you are SUNY Reconnect and cannot attend this session- that is okay! All other sessions will cover the most important information.
